Sin embargo, después de eso, desaparecieron. No respondieron a ninguno de mis recordatorios ni correos posteriores. Considero este comportamiento muy poco profesional, especialmente teniendo en cuenta la gravedad de mi situación.

I asked Pellicer & Heredia to try and settle a couple of issues for me, one of which had been in legal and bureaucratic limbo for over three years while being handled by a different firm. Within a month, my problems were over. If only I had gone to them first! I myself have worked in several firms of Chartered Accountants in London and know what professional service means at this high level and they definitely come up to the mark. A special word should also go to Johanna and Stephanie, as well as to Sr Pedro Heredia, for their diligent and swift handing of the day-to-day aspects. I felt totally confident that, as soon as there was any news at all, they would tell me immediately. It saved a lot of unnecessary concern and chasing to be able to trust in that.

**EDIT** I felt the need to edit this review, because their reply below is full of BS. My issue is not that we had difficulties with the immigration office. This problem was indeed beyond the law office's control. The issues here are: 1. They failed to notify us about the rejected appeal. 2. Even if they didn't know about the rejection, that is something they could have inquired about when I contacted them. Instead, they completely ignored every single one of my attempts to contact them for OVER SIX MONTHS. 3. In the end, the case was solved by SOLVIT, a free service that I reached out to in frustration at the lack of help from this law office. It was not solved by this law office, which received money in exchange for a service they did not reliably provide. 4. In their reply, they did not address the most important part of this: it's not acceptable to completely cut off communication with a paying client for over half a year, and only step back in when all of the work has already been done by someone else. **END OF EDIT** My wife and I hired this law firm to help us get our immigration paperwork done: an EU residency certificate for me (Polish), and an EU spouse residency for my wife (American). This should have been a simple process, but there were complications. The immigration office mistakenly rejected my wife's application for the EU spouse residency, citing that our marriage was not registered in Poland (we got married in the U.S.), and therefore not valid in the EU. This is incorrect. Our lawyer didn't really seem to know what to do with this (it's not like we hired them for their legal expertise or anything, right?), but they filed an appeal and we waited. The appeal was rejected a few months later, but the lawyer did not contact us to inform us. I tried contacting the lawyer directly and did not get a response. I sent emails to her and to the law office, and I also tried calling. I got no response for at least 6-7 months, and all this time we were living in a legally precarious situation without being aware of it. Eventually, I grew frustrated with the lawyer and found an alternative (SOLVIT, a free service), which was able to completely resolve our case. The lawyer only started responding to my messages after I informed her that SOLVIT had dealt with the situation, and the immigration office admitted that it made a mistake. It was around this time we found out that our appeal had been rejected a long time ago and the lawyer hadn't bothered to inform us or communicate in any way. After this, they did finish helping us with the rest of the process (fingerprinting appointments and getting the residency card issued), but this doesn't excuse the fact that they didn't tell us our appeal had been rejected, let us live here for half a year under problematic legal circumstances, and completely ignored multiple attempts at communication through every available channel. Immigration lawyers are supposed to help you solve problems, not create new ones. Once everything was done, I asked them to send me a written response explaining their behavior. They offered to have a phone call with me, but they completely refused to provide the written response I asked for. Considering how badly they screwed us over, they could at least provide that. But no. Avoid these guys. They are not good at what they do and they don't seem to care.

Excellent service. I needed to deregister myself from immigration and return my TIE. It was complicated for me because I need to deregister myself from Padron in Alicante and the next day I need to return my TIE to the policy station in Barcelona because that's where my TIE was issued. Connie has proactively talked to the foreign office in Alicante to accept my TIE from Barcelona to save me a big trip to Barcelona the next day. Connie has made everything so easy for me and I am guided from the beginning to the end. I definitely recommend this service to anyone.

Given we have used P&H in the past for taxes, forms and real estate advice, we jumped in on a visa and regreso. The staff went beyond our expectations of solutions . Given a tight timeframe for a need of a regreso, The staff all jumped in for a resolution thinking out of the box. Connie lead the team and we were successfully completed for our needs before we left Spain. There are options to this process and P&H offered that. It was important to use to secure our fingerprints and regreso to met the needs of our travel. All the time they shared " relax it will be done" and it was. Thank you.

For anyone wishing to obtain the Spanish Golden Visa (or, for that matter, for any visa/immigration service in Spain), my husband and I cannot recommend Pellicer & Heredia enough. This is simply the most competent and efficient firm that we have found. Our only regret is that we were not introduced to Pellicer & Heredia sooner! My husband and I purchased a home in Marbella in 2018, and having received conflicting advice from a number of other law firms, including lawyers that my husband works with in London, New York, and Madrid, were led to believe that it was not wise for us to apply for the Golden Visa. However, when we were introduced to Ignacio Pellicer and his assistant Carmen (by the moderator of an expat advice group that I follow online), we received clear, up-to-date, and, most importantly, COMPLETE counsel. We realized that the Golden Visa would indeed be favourable to our situation, and we left that first meeting with a list of items that we could start working on immediately. Carmen and Ignacio worked with us tirelessly (including over the holiday period) to ensure that we met all of the requirements and secured all of the supporting documents to submit our application. We used this firm to assist us with our TIE cards and tax consultation. Their communication was excellent and they helped us through the TIE process. The tax consultation was also good, and I received a written summary along with a hypothetical scenario. While the service was certainly not inexpensive it was very good quality. I would recommend them for anyone seeking similar services.

Exceptional service! Not only did Connie prepare and submit the necessary documents, she booked the appointments and prepared letters for the government officials, explaining the purpose of the visit. During the appointments, she was available by phone to speak with the government employees (she is in Alicante, I in Madrid). Due to a lack of training/experience, personnel at the first CNP station refused to accept the return of my residency card and, in spite of Connie’s attempt to convince them the necessary document had been filed with Spanish immigrations, they turned me away. Undeterred, Connie searched other CNP stations in the Madrid area and found one that had recently accepted the return of residency cards. When I arrived, they were hesitant to assist as well. THEY TOOK DOWN THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE WHERE I SHARED MY NIGHTMARISH EXPERIENCE IN DETAIL SO THAT NO ONE COULD READ IT. THEY HAVENT SUCCEEDED HERE. THEIR ARROGANCE IS SHOCKING. Muy mala experiencia. Esta semana vi que habían cometido errores en un trabajo que me hicieron hace un par de años. Bloquean y amenazan a la gente que comparte sus malas experiencias, reseñas no maliciosas si no basadas en la realidad, en su pagina de Facebook. I was confronted by an unexpected request for divorce from my wife who I loved and cared for a great deal. I needed first to understand my rights in Spanish Law and then gradually come to terms with what was unfolding in front of me. We then had to work out a way of protecting the best interests of our son aged 12. While my wife sought sole custody, we argued with photographic and written evidence that a growing boy needed the love and active involvement of both parents - a father being no less important for a teenage boy. It took time to construct a fully cogent argument and assemble a set of relevant witnesses, as well attend to numerous other aspects of our case. P and H were, as we say, professional to a “T”, and we won the case decisively in court. At the time of writing, it is possible than an appeal may be lodged, but the judge has been careful to note major developments in Spanish case law that look upon shared custody as being the norm in the case of two able and competent parents. We later heard that there would be no appeal. I am immensely grateful to the company and, if a similar sad fate were to befall others, can highly recommend them.

Our first contact was with Ignacio one of the Partners of the company in the beginning until the very end of the matter. We simply could not do enough for us, we went to see Ignacio as we only had about a month to resolve a legal issue that A N Other company who shall not be named who had supposedly worked on it for nearly a year. With P&H´s intervention they worked really quickly on our behalf and resolved all the problems within a few weeks by obtaining an extension and settled the problem effectively, quickly and efficiently. They have just handled a large commerial sale for us, in fact they even found a buyer for us !. Also once again Ignacio and Roberto and P&H have worked dilligentely and effectively on our behalf, and after a lot of stress and hard work on their parts finalised the sale on our behalf yesterday. In 2006 we retired to Spain but due to issues with the build of our property in May 2007 we were forced to return to England with a small amount of monies spare to start our lives again. We were introduced to Ignacio Pellicer via Michael Davies solicitors who both came highly recommended by a local resident. Following our first of many meetings with Ignacio we returned to England confident that he would represent us well. The next 8 years consisted of a number of court cases and trials, two of which we were required to travel back to Spain to attend, the results of both being in our favour. Even though we won both cases neither resulted in the return of the monies we had lost. Approximately 3 years ago Ignacio contacted us with news of going back to court via a new route and we won our case. However, due to appeals once again we were required to wait. After 11 years of hard work from Michael and Ignacio we have now finally received our money back.
