A horrible company. They bully anyone that gives them a negative review. They have had probably hundreds removed. They are also not lawyers but accountants. I had contacted the spanish bar becaue of their fradulent practices and was told this. Hiring them was the worst mistake of my life.

Highly recommended! We purchased a property in Benalmadena through Tejada in November 2023. The service was excellent from start to finish. Judith and Jose Maria guided us step-wise through the process of buying a property in Spain. Without exception, our questions were answered promptly; both Judith and Jose Maria speak perfect English. Ahead of completion Tejada supplied a report outlining their findings. On the day of completion, Judith attended the Notary and guided us through the purchase. Tejada Solicitors has asked me twice to write a review after a 1 hour consultation. I cannot recommend this company to assist with visas. First, they did not give me the opportunity to speak with the lawyer. I spoke with the accountant, and she did not know answers to basic legal questions. Some of the advice she gave me seemed wrong. I spoke with two other lawyers at different law firms who gave me better advice and more information without charging me for the initial consultation, and so I believe that Tejada is not trustworthy. Tejada also pressured me to hire them and pay 500 euro immediately after the consultation. I am a lawyer and found the consultation unusual and somewhat unprofessional. I thought it was strange that they immediately asked me to write a review on Google. So I read the reviews here and there are several warnings that once you hire Tejada they don't work. I think that their strategy is to make money from the initial consultation, tell you that they will have to ask someone else about your basic questions, and then likely do as little as possible once you pay them. I have been a lawyer for 15 years and I know when something is not right. I cannot recommend this company.

In the event that we are not able to meet the client's expectations in the first meeting, we offer them two options: a second meeting, completely free of charge, where we are able to study more about their situation and explore possible solutions, or a refund of the meeting fee, as in your case that we have proceeded to refund the corresponding fees. Our main aim is to be able to help and to seek the satisfaction of every client. However, in this case, we didn’t see any signs of dissatisfaction. That's why we informed you about the next steps and the fee to start the process. On the other hand, we would like to confirm that we have already carried out the Digital Nomad Visa process for some of our clients and have already received positive resolutions. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was not to your liking. We look forward to continuing to work and demonstrating our work.

Is this a actually a law firm? They seem to not be properly registered when I contacted the Spanish bar for their either extreme incompetence or deliberate negligence. The responses I got from the bar make it sound as if they are not considered lawyers individually or a legal entity collectively(i.e. the bar cannot do anything). Why did I call the bar you might ask? Because they overcharge and then do nothing. I honestly cannot reach them for so long I hired other lawyers. Shockingly awful. It makes you afraid to even invest in other countries.

After getting residency we had to put our tax affairs in order. We had fairly complex financial resources but were expertly guided through the process by Tejada. Veronica, in particular, was very diligent and efficient in the processing of Modelos 720 and 100. I also find the newsletters from Tejada very informative and relevant. My advice to anyone thinking of moving to Spain or obtaining residency is that their first port of call should be Tejada. They could save you a lot of money in the long term.

If you are considering moving permanently to Spain from the UK, I would highly recommend getting advice from Tejada Solicitors. They provided us with a clear understanding of what to expect from a tax perspective if we become residents in Spain. In addition they have the resources to provide advice on property purchase, opening bank accounts, fiscal representation and all other aspects you will need to consider before moving to Spain. The internet is a minefield of out of date, subjective and misleading information on buying and selling in Spain. My advice is to seek proper advice from a reputable source. I used Tejada to help me understand what a capital gains liability might be for a particular transaction. I've been using Tejada Solicitors for going on 3 years now. They helped my family and I when we first arrived in Spain and needed to file our income taxes. Rosana was incredibly helpful and patient with us, she explained everything and what was needed and by when. Since then, we've filed every year with them and it is always very easy. They even had to talk to my US accountant at one point and Rosana was very flexible with the times to accommodate my US based person. We have also used some of their other legal services and been very satisfied. If we ever decide to buy a property here in Spain, we'll definitely use them for that too. Their rates are reasonable and they always explain everything very carefully to make sure we understand.

We were recommended Tejada Socilitors by some friends who have been using them for a number of years and they spoke very highly of this firm. We did meet two other local Gestors but we were surprised by no response to telephone calls or emails which is why our friends suggested to contact Tejada Solicitors. I can confirm that after a Zoom meeting of less than one hour with Rosana whose English is excellent, I have every confidence that our Tax Affairs will be dealt with efficiently and quickly - but more importantly according to the Spanish rules and regulations.
